MRC NON-FICTION & ROLLING STONE FILMS TEAM UP FOR RUDY GIULIANI FEATURE DOCUMENTARY

MRC Non-Fiction and Rolling Stone Films today announced they are in production on a feature documentary about the public career of Rudy Giuliani, based on the 2020 article “What Happened to America’s Mayor?” by Seth Hettena. 

• Directors: Oscar®-nominated Zach Heinzerling (“Cutie & The Boxer”) and two-time Emmy® Award-winner Gabrielle Schonder (“The NRA: Under Fire”) 
• The project is slated for a 2022 release and is produced and financed by MRC Non-Fiction.
• The film reflects on what Rudy Giuliani once represented to most Americans: a man whose steady response to the attacks of September 11th, 2001 transcended partisan politics and transformed him into a national hero, and explores how the man christened “America’s Mayor” fell from grace and into a downward spiral that’s marred his once venerable reputation.
