Deadline confirms that actor Tom Bateman has joined the cast of The Love Hypothesis, the upcoming feature adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s bestselling romance novel. He stars opposite Lili Reinhart, who also produces the film under her company Small Victory Productions, alongside MRC Film and Amazon MGM Studios. While full plot details remain under wraps, the story follows a PhD candidate and a brooding professor who enter a fake relationship that spirals into something deeper—bringing fan-favorite STEM romance tropes to the screen.
